So, to that end, I'll summarize the current views: > > a) virtualization of networks > Joe > > b) virtualization of systems, > incl. networks, hosts, services, storage, sensors/actuators > Aaron Here is a summary of the poll. I put down Aaron as having the sysvirt position, though he didn't respond directly to the poll. Anyone who listed both or neither is also listed. The totals are 23 votes total: 14 61% network virtualization 4 17% system virtualization 3 13% both 2 9% neither I.e., there appears to be a reasonably majority in favor of focusing on network virtualization at this time. This does not preclude considering systems issues, nor does it preclude including systems aspects in the charter at a later time. I would like to proceed with proposing a charter with this focus, which I will post later today. If you have an issue you think should be included, please either post to the list or to me directly, or post in response to the proposed charter. We are arranging a 'bar bof' in Hiroshima to continue the discussion face-to-face, but the key focus at this time should be getting the charter nailed down so we can get to work.
