Protecting Children and Women Against Online Dangers
Abstract
This chapter argues for increasing the efforts to protect children from online dangers in a rapidly changing technology-driven world. After briefly describing the current situation and identifying the resulting challenges for educational efforts, the contribution introduces one of the leading European-based computer networks dedicated to this task and looks at efforts aimed at online protection of female users. It finishes with arguments for a truly international solution.
